Untreated

Untreated is the standard option for Log Cabins. The log boards are delivered to you untreated, providing you with a natural wood appearance. This allows you to decide the treatment type and colour to suit your tastes and preferences. You will need to treat this annually and after assembly to protect your wood against rot or decay.

Pressure Treated

For an extra level of protection, you can opt for a pressure-treated building which is an effective way of keeping the wood long-lasting. This is an extra step in the manufacturing process where the wood is treated in a pressurised tank. Chemical preservatives are forced deep into the wood’s fibres to resist rot, decay and termites. When you upgrade to Pressure Treatment, the guarantee is extended from 10 to 15 years. The Pressure Treatment gives your building a slightly green hue, to begin with, but over time this will age and turn to a beautiful warm brown colour.

Our Standard flooring option which provides a durable, solid foundation and underfoot to the building. The 11mm option is ideal for less demanding and frequent usage, suitable for lighter intensity purposes like summer houses and other living spaces containing light furniture. The 11mm tongue and groove timber makes this a solid yet suitable, economical option.

19mm Tongue and Groove

1.7 times thicker than our standard 11mm flooring, our premium floor is the perfect choice for higher intensity usage. The construction uses thick 19mm Tongue and Groove timber, which gives you not only the strength, but better insulation against the cold weather. This specific floor is the perfect option if you’re planning on using the building as an everyday use office, gym or games room with heavy objects.

Roof

11mm Tongue and Groove

Our standard roof option, this interlocking roof provides a reliable covering for any building. The Tongue and Groove not only gives your building a stronger roof but also a premium look and feel.

19mm Tongue and Groove

Heavy-duty and long-lasting, our 19mm roof will provide you with extra insulation for those colder months of the year and ideal for larger buildings.

Shelving is a great way of increasing the usable space in your building by giving you another storage level. Whether your building is for tools, gardening equipment or your own personal workshop shelving will help you keep a tidy, organised space. Depending on which option you choose, your shelving will cover one side, two sides or all around. Each shelf is 21cm deep and can be placed at any height.
Keep rainwater away from the walls with one of our guttering systems. Protect your building from harsh weather conditions and water damage with these great yet simple solutions. Single sided guttering is great for smaller buildings or upgrade to dual gutters for increased protection on larger buildings. Collect the rainwater and use it to water your garden as a cheap and more economical option.

Do you need high quality padlocks, paint, silicone and assembly kits?

The padlock is a 65mm long shackle which is a high quality security lock with brass finish. The steel hasp and staple is 169mm and is made from electro hardened galvanised steel. It is also supplied with recessed and concealed fittings.

The Silicon and Gun Set uses a silicone sealant which prevents mould and fungal growth and comes complete with a skeleton gun as standard. This product is ideal for sealing in the windows of your garden building!

This is a low cost, convenient solution, perfect if you don't already have your own tools. This kit includes: Hard point saw, Safety goggles, Paint brush, Pocket level, Claw hammer, Rigger gloves.

This unique hasp & staple type shield offers a high level of security by reducing the exposed area of a padlock to the bare minimum. Specifically designed to prevent unwanted entry being gained to sheds, garages & workshops by protecting against break-ins.

What size base does this building need?

All garden buildings should be assembled on a firm and level base. A base will ensure your building has a solid, long-lasting and well-drained foundation.

If you want to build your own base, from a sturdy material such as concrete or flagstones, you can find minimum dimensions for each size of this building in the tech specs. In order to protect your building from moisture, you should leave a 2ft gap around the exterior of your building, so remember to take this into consideration when laying any sort of base.

Our robust and simple to use EcoBase provides you with a firm, long-lasting foundation with suitable drainage for your garden building. It is quick and easy to install through the use of snap connectors that link the grids to each other.

What are the flooring and roofing options?

With the Pro Apex an 11mm tongue and groove floor and roof is included but you can upgrade to 19mm to suit more intensive use.

Will I need planning permission for this building?

If your building is shorter than 2.5m you should not require planning permission, (unless it’s more than 50% of your garden or will be placed in your front garden). Planning permission rules can vary by area so we would strongly recommend checking your local council rules before purchasing a garden building from us.

How easy is this building to assemble?

We do not offer an installation service on any of our buildings, as they are designed to be easy and simple to assemble. Using the digital assembly instructions included in your order confirmation and a team of at least 2 people, the interlocking logs that simply slot together mean you will have your BillyOh building up in no time!

How is the building delivered?

Our Log Cabins arrive as individual boards that are designed to be easily slotted together. This makes assembly easy and gives a strong building with interlocking corners for strength. If you opt for double glazed windows and doors, these are delivered pre-assembled for your convenience.

Customisable Cabin Size and Walls

Like many BillyOh buildings, the Pro Apex has both a range of sizes and a choice of wall thicknesses. The cabin sizes range from the smaller, more affordable 2.0 x 2.5m, to the largest size option of 2.5m x 4.5m (for those who need a shed with lots of space).

Every single size option also comes with a choice of walls. Either opt for the thinner 19mm groove timbers, or the heavy-duty 28mm walls for a more robust structure. These options make it easy to find the shed that fits your budget, needs, and garden space.

A Choice of Features and Fittings

Along with our wall and size options, the Pro Apex cabin also has a number of additional fixtures to improve your garden building.

You can opt for thicker floor and roof tongue and groove boards (19mm) for greater protection against the cold in those winter months! If you want to take extra steps to prevent the wood from getting wet, you can also choose to include a guttering set with your Pro Apex. Or, you can go all out and select for us to pressure-treat your wood, meaning the wood will be with water-repelling chemicals using a vacuum seal.

We also offer an advanced storage option, which includes a set of shelves with your shed. Shelving allows you to make better use of your cabin's vertical space, freeing up more floor space for storage. As standard, you can ask us to paint or stain your garden building - simply pick from our range of colours.

As with all our products, we offer free delivery to the vast majority of the UK. Once we have your delivery address, we'll give you a delivery slot along with all the information you'll need. On the day of delivery, we'll put you in touch with the driver and give you regular updates to let you know it's all going smoothly. How does my building arrive?

Log cabins are delivered via kerbside delivery as stacks of pre-assembled panels that require fitting together. All panels are designed to be smaller enough to fit down side entrances and even for transport through houses.

Easy Assembly

As soon as you've confirmed your order, we'll send you a digital assembly manual that you'll use to make your log cabin. After delivery, simply check you have all the pieces in your log cabin kit, and get to work assembling it! You shouldn't need anything more than a level base to build it on and some everyday tools to build it with.
