Spray treatment: Our sheds and summerhouses get a beautiful golden brown spray treatment before leaving the factory in order to preserve the quality of the wood. As this only lasts through the transit stage, we do recommend treating the wood after installation to protect it.

Pressure Treated: Pressure Treatment is an effective way of making your shed last longer. Chemical preservatives are forced deep into the wood’s fibres to resist rot, decay and termites. The treatments dramatically increase the durability of your shed and frees you of your maintenance worries.

Constructed from thick panels which interlock together, tongue and Groove creates a strong and stable structure that is designed to offer protection against the elements. This method of construction provides you with a strong and dependable building which is built to last.

11mm: All sheds, excluding overlap, standard summerhouse, playhouses etc are made of 11mm thick cladding.

We offer a range of flooring options, so depending on how you’re going to use your shed, you can choose the better option for you.

Floor:

11mm: Our Standard flooring option which provides a durable and provides a solid foundation and underfoot to the building. The 11mm option is ideal for less demanding and frequent usage, suitable for lighter intensity purposes like summer houses and other living spaces containing light furniture. The 11mm tongue and groove timber makes this a solid yet suitable, economic option.

19mm: A premium floor is the perfect choice for higher intensity usage. The construction uses thick 19mm tongue and groove timber, which gives you not only the strength, but better insulation against the cold weather. This specific floor is the perfect option if you’re planning on using the building as an everyday use office, gym or games room with heavy objects.

The building should be treated once fully assembled and within one month of receiving the product. All the treatments we supply ensure the building will only need to be treated once a year, but always consult the directions on the treatment that you have purchased. Pressure treated buildings don't need to be treated annually but may need to be topped up in its later life.

If the building is shorter than 2.5m tall you should not require planning permission, (unless it’s more than 50% of your garden or to be put in your front garden). Planning permission rules can vary by area so we would strongly recommend checking your local council rules before ordering from us.

We do not offer an installation service on any of our buildings, our buildings are designed & made to be easy and simple to assemble. Using the assembly instruction included and with a team of just 2 people and a bit of DIY knowledge you can expect to have your BillyOh building up within a day, or as little as 3-4 hours with some of our smaller buildings.

Our summerhouses and sheds are delivered in easy to assemble panels. For your convenience the panels are no wider than 4ft so they can be easily maneuverable and fit through a standard doorway. Our Log Cabins arrive as individual boards that are designed to slot together.
